JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Database Technical Manager, the self-motivated database developer will support cutting edge software related software and report development. As part of a small, agile team, many opportunities exist on for exploring new technologies and gaining robust development skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The responsibilities listed are fundamental to the position and must be performed successfully to achieve the key performance objectives of the role. Other responsibilities may be assigned.
• Translate business requirements into a performance optimized data base design
• Create practical logical & physical models
• Evaluate data issues & ensure data integrity
• Develop PL/SQL scripts for operational, analytical reports, and ETL processes
• Develop PL/SQL scripts for manipulating data
• Investigate, troubleshoot and correct data and user related system errors
• Participate in design sessions and code reviews
• Work under an Agile development process
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with Subject Matter Experts and Developers
• Support data warehouse database in addition to OLTP system
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• BE or BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years database development experience with a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
• Experience with Data Modeling
• Experience with report development and writing queries
• Good understanding of Relational database design, OLTP concepts
• Knowledge of reporting and query tools, and practices
• Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred Skills:
• PowerShell
• Experience with ETL/Data Warehousing
• PowerBI, Tableau, Data Warehouse, SSIS and SSAS knowledge and experience

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for maintaining RDBMS databases and peripheral programs. Proper documentation and timely communication of ticket/project status’/needs and collaborating with numerous departments to ensure timely resolution as well as nurturing relationships with

• Builds and maintains client and internal relationships to drive mutually beneficial solutions and drive positive client experiences; acts as onsite subject matter expert/consultant.
• Installs databases and reviews application code.
• Run updates/patches to databases and applications.
• Monitors SQL jobs to ensure availability of up to date software for clients.
• Responsible for follow-up on assigned projects; participates in project conference calls.
• Acts as subject matter expert to clients and other internal teams for database related ticket resolution.
• Lead Initial database troubleshooting for incoming member tickets, using internal tools and escalate as needed to DBA team for further evaluation via the internal ticketing system.
• Updating tickets timely with details relevant to the nature of the issue, plan for remediation and resolution.
• Responsible for performing security scans and STIGs on Linux servers and resolving issues found.
Required Experience and Qualification:
• Builds and maintains client and internal relationships to drive mutually beneficial solutions and drive positive client experiences; acts as onsite subject matter expert/consultant.
• Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) or certification.
• Ten years of Oracle database/system administration.
• Familiar with Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems and perform basic admin tasks.
• Experience with writing PL/SQL code.
• Experience with scripting.
• CompTIA Security+
